There are a number of energy efficiency incentives available for your home, business and town, and the number is growing.

Electric savings programs may take the form of loans, product discounts or rebates. Economic stimulus programs may be direct action, such as weatherization of low-income homes, or tax credits (which are more valuable than tax deductions); these stimulus programs have been substantially increased by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Energy efficiency grants to municipalities have been indexed by the New Hampshire Local Government Center. And in addition to its well-known energy efficiency certification system, ENERGY STAR offers incentives by approving appliance rebate programs in 45 states, including New Hampshire.
